Thursday September 13, 2012 [21 miles] Unfortunately, I didn’t sleep more than 90 minutes top all night, probably because I knew I was so close to the end of the trail! I got up at 5:30am and was hiking by 6:15am. I passed 2 thru-hikers who were also on Day 7--but they started on the other side of the lake, which made me feel good! I filled up water at Star Lake, although I only needed about two liters. I didn’t see anyone else until closer to the Big Meadow trailhead, where I saw about a dozen bikers. I arrived at the Big Meadow trailhead at 2pm and headed home!
